Ram Jhula
Ram Jhula is a famous landmark place in Rishikesh city. It is an iron suspension bridge over holy river Ganga. Ram Jhula is built in the year 1986 with the length of 220 metres connecting Shivananda Ashram with Swargashram. Ram Jhula also offers a panoramic view of river Ganga and Rishikesh city having number of temples.
Parmarth Niketan Ganga Aarti
One of the famous ashrams situated on the banks of the holy Ganges River in between Ramjhula nad Janki Setu. Ashram is famous for its Hawan on the ghat and Ganga Aarti that takes place daily in the evening. A huge number of international and national visitors visits the ashram at the time of the International Yoga Festival.
Lakshman Jhula
Lakshman Jhula is an iron suspension bridge over the holy river Ganga from 70 years in Rishikesh. Currently closed for crossing due to its life completed. The new bridge is under construction. This Jhula is 450 feet length connecting Pauri district with Tehri district. Lakshman Jhula also offers a panoramic view of river Ganga and Rishikesh city having number of temples.
Beatles Ashram
In the suburban alleys of Rishikesh, there is an erstwhile ashram of late Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi also known as the "Beatles Ashram" and "Chaurasi Kutiya" where the Fab-four attended a session of transcendental meditation. It was here that the English rock band composed over 50 songs during their stay in 1968.
